The Cotton Street Gallery, located at 104 North Cotton Street in Andalusia, will host its second annual quilt show and competition beginning Saturday, Feb. 1. Quilts from more than 25 southern quilters will be on display through March 31. The Kiwanis Club of Andalusia and the Alabama Humanities Alliance are among the show’s sponsors. Competition judge Sandy Gard, member of the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges (NACQJ), will give a lecture on “Quilts -The Lost Art That Was Really Never Lost” on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. in the Andalusia Public Library’s Dixon Room.
